Connersville is a city in Fayette County, Indiana, United States. The population was 15,411 at the 2000 census. The city is the county seat of Fayette CountyGR6. Connersville is named for settler John Conner. In the early 20th century, the town became known as "Little Detroit" because of its importance to the automobile industry.
